April

Whan that aprill with his shoures soote

The droghte of march hath perced to the roote,

When Chaucer wrote this I think he had in mind the coming of spring, the end of winter, some warmth from the sun, some flowers bringing colour to the land etc etc  - but not this year - April has not brought any sweet showers for us this time,... so far.

I did go out and take a photo the other day The two blokes involved are behaving as if the sap is rising and there's reproduction to be done - but only by the winner.

We are starting a competition on the park for photographs of the bird life.
The winner will be published in one of our newsletters later this year
As ever, the judge's decision is final
If you have any good pictures of wild life in Worcestershire please send it along by email
